Performing Arts plays an exceptionally significant role in helping children to develop their creative skills.
Performing Arts is designed to promote enjoyment, engagement, skill, language development and understanding. Students learn through a range of activities, songs and dances. Performing Arts enhance students’ communication skills and help them to speak effectively and confidently. MPS encourages students to learn vocal and instrumental music. Children learn guitar, keyboard, table, drums, etc. and the school choir displays its talent in every school function. Dance (Indian and western), is taught to all grades. Students participate enthusiastically in all inter-house and inter-school events.
Under Visual Arts, AIL (Art Integrated Learning) projects are taken up once-a-year. These projects are part of the subject – enrichment activity. Art is also taught to students to hone their skills of drawing and painting, colour sense, visualization etc. The school conducts various workshops in art mediums on yearly basis.
