The founders of MPS envisioned to create a school which could ensure holistic development and enable the children to perform these roles astutely. In the school stage, the children are in a very crucial age of cognitive, affective and behavioural development.Learnings experienced in these formative years shape our entire life; what we teach, experience, expose ourselves to, learn, etc all go to make up our personality.

Admission Process

 

Admissiontochildrenissubjecttoavailabilityofseatsinagivenclass.InMPS,students’ strength per class iskeptlowwith30perdivision.Thisensuresindividual attention and personalized care. Admission isopentoClassesNurtoIX/XI.Incaseseatsareunder-utilizedandforreasonsoffunctionalutilitySMCmayapproveincreasedpercentageofadmissionsinclassesIXandXI.Thepercentage can be decreased at a later date, if situationsowarrants.

The school will follow the general guidelines as given out in the admissionbrochurewithrespecttoadmissionproceduresandadmissiontests.Foradmission to Class XI, minimum percentages as stated in the cut- off criterion, stated in the subject selection forms for class-XI,willbefollowed.Merelymeetingthesubjectcriteria,however,doesnotguaranteeadmission. Admissionwillalsodependuponrelativemeritandavailabilityofseats.Nospecialweightagewillbegivenforanystreamtoanystudent.

Following procedures would be executed for admission to MPS:

  • Entrance Exam for Classes I to IX in the subjects English, Mathematics and Science.
  • Interactive session for Classes LKG and UKG for assessment of Psychomotor and cognitive skills.
  • An orientation session for parents will be conducted after the confirmation of admission.
  • Final stage is interaction with Principal/Vice Principal.

Rules And Regulation

 

Our Expectations from Our Day Scholars

Please cooperate with the school as the school cooperates with you. Towards this endeavour, please ensure the following:

  • Read the school almanac and be familiar with all the rules and regulations of the school.
  • Check the calendar of your child every day to see what the school has announced. Homework to be completed daily and diary signed.
  • Check his/her test marks and go through his/her report card carefully.
  • Ensure that your child is well dressed, appears tidy with proper haircut and does not feel out of place in school because of your negligence.
  • See that your child carries a proper lunch which is wholesome and not junk food.
  • You are solely responsible for the safety of your child to and from the school.
  • Never miss a Parent – Teacher Meeting. Attend all PTMs and speak to all the subject teachers.
  • Ensure that your ward is keeping good company.
  • Try and attend the school functions even if you are busy because it matters to your child.
  • Don’t give money to your child for various school purposes/functions without counter checking or verifying with school authority.
  • Closely monitor the child when he/she watches movies, television and is using the Internet.

General Rules for All Students

  • All MPS students are expected to be well mannered and behave with courtesy. Students are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct whether on campus or outside the school. Students are expected to show respect towards teachers at all time.
  • MPS is Smoke Free and Violence Free School. All should cooperate to follow this rule. Violators will be dealt with strictly.
  • Bullying is strictly prohibited inside the school and no such act will go unnoticed or unpunished.
  • Mobile phones and electronic gadgets are banned at all times.Once found, they will be confiscated and not be returned.
  • MPS is our home and therefore anyone damaging the school property in any way will not be tolerated. Accidental breakages must be duly reported to the teachers. Everyone should keep the school neat and clean.
  • No student is allowed to write anything on notice boards or write/draw graffiti on school walls or classroom furniture. Violators will be fined and punished.
  • Students are not permitted to transact any business in the school. There must not be any borrowing or lending of any articles among each other.
  • The school diary is a mandatory for each student and must be carried every day to class. All records of late arrival, absence, remarks from school authorities and parents, homework and breach of discipline must be recorded.
  • Students must wear I-Card every day to school.
  • The MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION of the school is ENGLISH. All are to converse in English at all times.
  • Violators of School rules will be fined, suspended and or dismissed from school.
